Pride at Mount Tamar!

We have celebrating this month of tolerance & understanding in so many ways!

The LGBTQ+ society has been busily planning a multitude of events and symbols to show our support for equality in all its forms.

Their first act was to make these badges for staff and students to were to show their support - we've already asked for more!

The main event will be a Pride Parade on Friday 24th June, around the school grounds!

One student, Calum, has also created this inspiring installation on our patio as a history project. He briefly describes the history of the Stonewall riots, with a lesson for our present and future. Sadly, the rain has washed it away now, but not before we recorded it for posterity.

The highlight of the celebrations was our Pride Parade! The students and staff were glorious in their brightly coloured clothes and face paints and even with flags!
