For parents

Parent View gives you the chance to tell Ofsted what you think about your child’s school, from the quality of teaching to dealing with bullying and poor behaviour. The survey can be completed at any time; you don’t have to wait until the school is being inspected.We will use the information you provide when making decisions about which schools to inspect and when.

My child likes school –

Outcome – This is a very positive response and therefore no action required.

The staff at school care about my child

  • 95% - yes
  • 5% - don’t know
  • 0% - no

Outcome – another very positive response with no action required.

My child’s needs are met by the school

  • 71% - yes
  • 20% - don’t know
  • 9% - no

Outcome – Still another positive response, however, there are actions in place that will have improved this result: –               

  • More progress reviews have been set up for parents/carers with tutors
  • PSA to have stand at Parent’s evening with “Suggestion Box” for parents and carers.

Staff are welcoming when I visit

  • 100% - yes

The school communicate well with parents by way of newsletter/emails/website/text etc
