Maths Department - Key Stage 3 Scheme of Work

Key Stage 3 lasts Year 7, Year 8 and Year 9 and during this time pupils are introduced to as many different aspects of Maths as possible.

During the three years pupils cover units of work. At the beginning of Year 7 the units of work are based around basic number skills but as pupils work through the units further Numeracy skills are slowly introduced so by the end of Year 9 pupils are required to use and demonstrate a range of skills when working through a unit.

The links for each unit will open up a new page outlining the work that will be carried out each week when the unit is being taught. For those who want to continue the work outside of school there are links to useful web pages. In addition those pupils carrying out the unit will have access to the [1] MTSOC materials which they can download and use.
