ICT -  Key Stage 2 - Scheme of Work



Introduction

During Key Stage 2 pupils are introduced to ICT via different pieces of software which support the learning processes in the classroom

Towards the end of Key Stage 2 pupils are introduced to the ICT Room in the Secondary department and following a number of units of work which takes the learning that they have already done to a higher level.

The complete units of work is on MTSOC [1], Mount Tamar School's learning Platform. A secure login and password is required to access MTSOC [2].

Unit B - Communications
This unit introduces pupils to communicating. Initially pupils will look at how communicating has changed over the years before looking at how communications have changed in the electronic age. Once pupils have an understanding of the history of communications they will on to looking at the different ways we communicate nowadays through accessing the [Mount Tamar School] wall-gardened facilities.
